'Il Capiteto', a more than 150 year old farmhouse, is situated on the western edge of the valley of Conca d'oro, the valley of the golden mussel, which constitutes one of the top vine territories in the Chianti. Being built on a hillside facing westwards guests can enjoy a beautiful and unrestricted view from most rooms, the balcony and the swimming pool into a typically tuscan landscape stretching from the former monastery ‘Rignana' to San Donato and to Tavernelle in the far horizon. Amazing and fascinating not only at sunset! ‘Il Capiteto' is tranquil but not remote. The well known tourist places on the Chianti wine route Greve and Panzano are 5 km respectively 4 km away. The farmhouse offers guests privacy as they are the only residents of the estate. The apartment in the main building is 210 m² and was recently completely refurbished so that guests can enjoy the features of a tuscan farmhouse and the comfort of a new villa. The apartment consists of a living room with an open fire and a balcony, a living room with satellite-TV and a small CD-player, 3 bedrooms each with a double bed (one bedroom has a small terrace), 3 bathrooms each with WC shower and bidet ( 1 bathroom is equipped with a washing-machine and a tumble-dryer). The kitchen featuring the typical Tuscan open fire place and antique terracotta tiles is equipped with a gas cooker (hob and oven), fridge and dishwasher and is combined with the dining room.
